This device is a USB telephone perfect for using with your favourite programmes such as MSN, yahoo Messenger, AOL messenger and Skype. No soundcard or speaker configuration is needed as the phone plugs into the USB port of your PC. The phone has its own soundcard on board so when someone calls you through a programme such as skype the phone will ring whether your pcs speakers are turned on or not. There is an LCD display that has caller ID and the facility to show stored numbers etc. No software is needed to make the phone work, however a software disc is supplied that enables full skype intergration , ie to enable the phone to ring, to directly call out from the phone etc.
