This device is a USB telephone perfect for using with your favourite programmes such as MSN, yahoo Messenger, AOL messenger and Skype. No soundcard or speaker configuration is needed as the phone plugs into the USB port of your PC or mac. The phone has its own soundcard on board so when someone calls you through a programme such as skype the phone will ring whether your pcs speakers are turned on or not.
